TRANSACTION ACCOUNT GUARANTEE PROGRAM

Bank of Monticello is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all non-interest bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

Types of Bank of MonticeIlo accounts covered by the Transaction Account Guarantee Program include all regular non-interest bearing demand deposit accounts (regular checking accounts and all regular NOW accounts.

Types of Bank of Monticello accounts NOT covered by the Transaction Account Guarantee Program include the Tiered Super NOW accounts, Passbook Savings Accounts, the Tiered Money Market Accounts, all Certificate of Deposit Accounts, IRA Accounts, and all Club Accounts. These accounts are insured through December 31, 2013 for up to $250,000 under the FDIC general deposit insurance rules.
